Needs analysis

Because none of our projects are ever standard, we'll consult with you first to determine your
needs, pin down realistic timescales and agree on deliverables.

Document preparation and scanning
Whether our projects be large or small, our capable staff are trained to handle all of the aspects
associated with paper conversion projects – from preparing the documents and scanning them,
to their final conversion into a fully searchable product. Our processes are geared towards
preserving chains of evidence and custody (where applicable) and ensure a final product
compatible with court requirements. On any given project our services may include some or all
of the following:

Document preparation
Foreign object removal (staples, paperclips etc), Page numbering, Bates stamping and inserting
document separator pages.
Document scanning
Scanning documents (per file or per document) either in color or black-and-white from business
card size to A3.
Document re-assembly
Re-stapling to original state, removing document separator pages, re-assembly of files/documents
and packing (if applicable).
Post Scanning conversion and processing
Conversion of scanned documents into required format. (Typically this would be in a searchable
PDF format but may be anything from an image only to a fully editable and proofread Excel or Word
document). Also, proofreading, creating hyperlinks and searchable indexes in software format of
choice (if required) and delivery in format of choice (CDROM, DVD, HDD).
